The three words that best describe me are organised, supportive and adaptable.
Organised – I work best when tasks and processes are structured, I love a list. I naturally bring order to complex or busy situations. Planning fieldwork, managing resources, tracking experimental requirements, being organised helps to ensuring everything happens at the right time and growth stage. The same sense of organisation shows up at home too, having a rough plan for the week to help everything feel manageable.
Supportive – I enjoy helping others achieve their goals, and I value creating a positive, collaborative environment. Whether guiding newer colleagues, stepping in when someone needs help, or making sure researchers have what they need for successful experiments, I take pride in supporting the people around me and value being someone others can rely on, whether that’s family, friends, or anyone who needs a bit of encouragement
Adaptable – Field and research environments often change quickly the weather shifts, evolving experimental needs, or unexpected challenges. I’m comfortable adjusting plans and responding calmly when things don’t go exactly as expected. Adaptability allows me to stay effective under pressure and helps the team continue moving forward without losing momentum. Being able to be adaptable in different situations helps me to stay grounded.
