MENTOR – Agronomist’s Update meeting
Morley Business Centre, Morley, Wymondham, Norfolk, NR18 9DF
11th February 2019
You are invited to join us at Morley Business Centre as we celebrate the Morley Agricultural Foundation’s long-term experiment programme, MENTOR, which is co-ordinated by NIAB. These experiments have informed change in agronomy over decades. At this meeting, we will be bringing together the results for the last 10 years and more, reflecting on what they have taught us and consulting on the future of the experiments.
In the morning, we will hear highlight presentations from the trials programme covering:
- Fungicide responses in wheat, barley and sugar beet;
- Impacts of cultivation systems on yield and margins;
- Measuring soil health;
- Impacts of organic amendments;
- Integrating new approaches to crop monitoring.
After lunch, we will take forward the feedback from the morning and, in workshops, consider the development of these trials into the future.
Registration from 8.30am, programme 09.00-12.30, followed by lunch
Optional workshops until 15.00
Refreshments and lunch will be provided on the day.
Please join us at this exciting event to find out more about the results and to have ‘Your Say’ about the future development of the MENTOR programme
