The Morley Agricultural Foundation
In 2022 TMAF fully funded three PhD students studying with Cambridge University and NIAB. A further two students are part-funded as part of the CTP-SAI. The students will be demonstrating their work so far. The subjects include wheat genetic improvement to rooting, nitrogen efficiency, and septoria resistance.

BBRO: British Beet Research Organisation
At this point we are unsure what the 2023 season will throw at us but aphids, virus and moth are sure to be present. BBRO key staff will be available to discuss topical issues for the season.

Anglia Water and Catchment Sensitive Farming
Anglia Water and Catchment Sensitive Farming advisors will be discussing practical solutions to reduce water pollution from agriculture. This will include rain water harvesting and solutions to keep silt out of water courses. AW and CSF will also be giving advice about the grant funding opportunities currently available.

Agrovista
With the price and a focus on carbon, nitrogen use efficiency has become increasingly important. Agrovista will be demonstrating more recent alternative products to make crop nutrients more effective. And be on hand to discuss current topics of the season.

Horizon agriculture
Demonstrating early results from a series of trials at Morley investigating maize seed depth, alternative starter fertilisers and seed furrow closing.

Maize Growers Association
The MGA will be show results of recent years’ maize trials at Morley, including varieties, fertiliser use, and the impact of the loss of seed treatments for the crop.

Adams & Howling
Adams & Howling will be demonstrating some of the old favourite malting barley variety plots and how they feature heavily in brewing and distilling markets.
